Applicants must be new incoming freshmen who have been admitted to EKU, are Kentucky residents and are enrolling at EKU for the first time in the Fall semester. Students who meet all the above eligibility requirements are automatically considered for the award. Applicants who completed the Governor's Scholar Program with a high school grade point average of 3.75 or above and an ACT composite score from 25-28 will receive the Premier Award.
